Weight loss FAQ

Questions, answered.

How much does it cost — and can I use FSA/HSA?+
Pricing starts at $149/month for our 52-week Microdosing program and $179/month for Semaglutide on the same plan. Shorter commitments are available at $179–$339 for the 4-week tier. All medication, clinician access, and labs are included. Yes — we accept FSA and HSA cards, plus Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We do not currently accept American Express or directly bill insurance.
Who is eligible for Ascenva GLP-1 weight loss?+
For our GLP-1 program, eligibility is generally BMI ≥27, or BMI ≥25 with a weight-related comorbidity. Ages 18–74 to start treatment (patients may continue past 74 based on clinical evaluation). Our Microdosing program has broader eligibility at BMI ≥20. All final eligibility decisions are made by your licensed clinician based on your full medical history.
What's the difference between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?+
Semaglutide is a single-receptor GLP-1 agonist. Tirzepatide is a dual-receptor GLP-1/GIP agonist. Your licensed clinician will recommend the option that is appropriate for you based on your goals, history, and tolerance. Compounded formulations are not FDA-approved, and individual results vary.
How do Ascenva formulations compare to brand-name medications?+
Ascenva's personalized formulations are compounded medications prepared by U.S. state-licensed 503A and 503B pharmacies. They are not the same as, are not generic versions of, and have not been demonstrated to have the same safety or efficacy as, any brand-name medication. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Your Ascenva clinician determines the appropriate personalized formulation based on your individual medical needs.
What side effects should I expect?+
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, constipation, and diarrhea — particularly during initial dosing and titration. Most resolve as your body adjusts. Your clinician can prescribe ondansetron for nausea if needed. Serious but rare side effects include thyroid tumors, pancreatitis, and gallbladder issues. Do not use if you or your family have a history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). See full safety information below.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. You can cancel or pause your membership from your member portal at any time, no questions asked. Refunds are available for any month where medication has not yet been ordered for shipment.
