Every plan is clinician-directed. No Ascenva medication is prescribed without review by a licensed clinician who determines whether treatment is appropriate for you.
Licensed, credentialed providers
Your care is delivered by U.S.-licensed clinicians who are licensed in the state where you are located. Clinicians are credentialed through our clinical partner network and practice in accordance with the laws of your state.
How clinical care works
- 1. Assessment. You complete a confidential health assessment about your history, medications, and goals.
- 2. Clinician review. A licensed clinician reviews your information to determine whether treatment is medically appropriate. Where your state requires it, this includes a synchronous video or phone visit.
- 3. Personalized plan. If treatment is appropriate, your clinician creates a plan and issues a prescription to a licensed partner pharmacy. If it isn't appropriate, you won't be prescribed — and you won't be charged for treatment.
- 4. Ongoing care. You can message your care team and submit regular check-ins so your clinician can monitor your progress and adjust your plan as needed.
Our clinical standards
- No medication is dispensed without a clinical evaluation.
- A clinician may decline to prescribe if treatment is not medically appropriate or safe for you.
- Compounded medications are prepared by U.S. state-licensed 503A and 503B pharmacies. Compounded medications are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
- Your protected health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA.
